Per-request execution context threaded through the application layer, carrying caller identity, authorization mode, surface, and limits.

Fields§

§principal: Option<Principal>

Authenticated caller, or None when no principal is attached.

§authorization_mode: AuthorizationMode

How authorization is enforced for this request.

§surface: Surface

Surface (MCP, REST, CLI, …) the request arrived on.

§trace: Option<TraceContext>

Inbound distributed-trace context, when propagated.

§destructive_confirmation: Confirmation

Whether the caller supplied confirmation for destructive actions.

§response_limit: Option<usize>

Optional cap on the response payload size.

§request_id: RequestId

Unique identifier for this request.
